In about two hours’ time, I am going to head to the airport in order to check in to the first of two planes on my way to Doha, Qatar. Of course, this has been a trip that has long been in the planning- ever since my father got out of his surgery last year, he’d planned to go back to Qatar, and we were to take turns spending time with him there- but I find myself almost unbelieving of the fact that I am going. I had not thought that I would go to Doha without a specific plan to either look for work or live it up. But the ticket is booked, and my luggage is packed, so I guess it’s happening!
I will try to write more, smaller posts while there, though I have learned to expect much of my initiative levels in this regard. I will say that a change in scenery does tend to give me inspiration to put words together, as was seen in my Quds blog, but we shall see.
To all my readers (by which I mean to Omar Q and maybe Abed A-N), I hope you are well, and stay tuned!
